For 25 years, Yellow Page consulting was my life. Prior to that, had my own advertising agency. I also have a degree in marketing. I’ve been designing Yellow Page ads for the past three decades. So I have expertise in YP creation and have advised almost 7000 companies on how to put together YP ads and even wrote a book available on amazon. Now that I am semi-retired, I’ve written over 50 articles about the Yellow Pages and what it can do for the average family-run business, the backbone of the directory media.

1. Marketing to Everybody: You can’t be everything to everybody, as much as you would like to try. You need to choose who you want as clients and tailor your marketing to them. By being very specific, you will be able to focus your efforts and will be far more effective. Define who you really want to work with and stick to it.
2. Varying Your Look: “Who are you?” That’s what people will say when they see your promotions taking on different personalities. If one day you’re Mr. Rogers and the next day you’re Judge Judy, people won’t know how to respond to you and what you offer. Decide who you really are and design your campaigns to match.

Whether you are a small business owner or the office manager of a large company, you understand that office phones have to work. Despite the large move to email and instant communication over the Internet, telephones still hold a vital place in the office environment. One enterprise focused telephone manufacturer is Toshiba, a corporation that has a diverse background and a history spanning over a century.
Started in 1875, by founder Hisashige Tanaka, the company became Japan’s first manufacture of telegraphic equipment. As the company began to grow and diversify itself, it became the corporation we know today after the merging of two companies in 1939. Shibaura Seisakusho and Tokyo Denki created a new company called Tokyo Shibaura Denki, that later was nicknamed Toshiba. This became the official name in 1984.

A trademark is a distinctive image, word or other thing that associates with a product or service. So, can you trademark your business name?
Most people think trademarks are logo oriented. In some ways, this is true. The Nike Swoosh is clearly a logo trademark that stands out in peoples minds. When you see it, you immediately think of Nike and its products. While logos can clearly be trademarked, what about a business name? The answer is both yes and no.

There are several noise sources in a car audio setup. In this article, I’ll talk about one where your car speakers produce noise that seems to increase when you “rev” the engine. You’ll get to learn how to eliminate that annoying noise and enjoy your music.
First, you must understand that this is simply interference or induced noise. Induced noise can sound like clicking, popping, whirring, buzzing, whistling, or whining. This noise always has a source such as the alternator, car power wiring, amplifier, etc. So this means that the problem can be tackled at the source. Now, you just have to find it.
